For Greensboro Campus

To register for ABE, GED, or AHS programs, you
must:
1. Attend orientation: AEC, Room 122/107:
Thursdays, 6p-8:30p.
Fridays - 10a -12:30p.
Please arrive on time and bring a valid photo ID.

2. Take placement tests: Room 124:
Mondays - 9a, 1p, or 5:30p,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 1p.

3. Complete the mandatory 4-day
"Preparing for Success" class; room 246
Tuesday -Friday, 10a-1p and 12:30p-3:30p or
Monday -Thursday, 6p-9p

4. Register for classes.
Minors, 16 or 17 years old, must contact the student
support specialist at his/her respective school before
coming to Guilford Tech.

For High Point Campus

NEW STUDENTS:
To register for ABE, GED, or AHS programs you
must complete a mandatory 4 day orientation and
placement testing session; which is conducted on a
weekly basis. You must begin on a Monday.
Students may choose from the following times to
attend orientation:

Monday - Thursday, 9a-12p or 6p-9p
Building H3 / Room 114

Students will be allowed to register for Basic Skills
classes upon completion of orientation. Please arrive
on time and bring a valid photo ID.

CONTINUING STUDENTS:
For pre-registration information for Fall 2011 please
call 454-1126 ext. 55066.

Minors 16 or 17 years old, must contact the student
support specialist at his/her respective school before
coming to Guilford Tech.
