Warehouse Technician (Hybrid)

Guilford County is quickly becoming a national and international distribution point for some of the country's largest corporations. A Warehouse Technician receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials, fills requisitions and orders, packs, crates, and ships products and materials to distribution centers, departments, or assembly line, and may operate a fork lift.

Salary Range: $8-$12 per hour for entry level positions with potential to earn more with additional training and experience

This is a hybrid course, a combination of 96 hours face to face classroom instruction and 48 hours of online instruction.

This 144 hour training includes:

• Hands-On Forklift Operator Training
• Microsoft Word for Report Writing
• Microsoft Word for Warehouse Layout
• Microsoft Excel for Developing Forms
• On-Site Observations of Warehouse Environments
• Elements of Effective Communications
• Understanding of Verbal and Non Verbal Messages
• Listening Skills
• Reading and Comprehension
• Computer Basics

Requirements to Register for this Quick Jobs class:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic Computer Skills
