Flexible Spending
Account
Optional insurance plans are provided to supplement employee's
medical coverage. Cancer, hospital intensive care protection,
hospital confinement and accident/sickness/disability policies may
be purchased on a pre-tax basis. Health and Dependent Care
reimbursement accounts may also be provided through the Flexible
Benefits Plan. The plans reimburse the employee for daycare
expenses incurred for a dependent child, disabled spouse, or
dependent parent and for eligible medical expenses that are not
covered by the employee's medical or dental insurance (i.e., dental
services, medications, co-pay amounts, deductibles, lab
exams/tests, etc.). Contact your HR representative for more

Dental
A group dental plan is available to all full-time regular and
time-limited employees. Currently the college pays the monthly
premium for each employee; however, the employee must pay for
dependent coverage. The plan pays 50% to 100% of covered services,
with some procedures subject to a $50 deductible. The plan covers
preventive and diagnostic services, basic and major procedures for
adults and children; however, it does not cover orthodontics.
